- chicken breast, boiled4you will shred the chicken breast and I will share a link for how to shred your chicken in oooh about 15 seconds.
- Pepperidge farm dressing mix1one bag/container of this product
- Cream of Mushroom1one can
- 2/3 a stick of Melted butter
- Boiled Eggs4
After you have shredded the chicken, melted the butter and cut up the eggs in tiny little pieces, mix it all together in a bowl and then empty the mixture into a long casserole dish. Place it in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
As I have stated before, I am a girl raised in the south. We don't do stuffing a turkey in my neck of the woods. I have tried it (stuffing) before and well........I am not a fan. And it creeps me out a bit. Something about having to ensure that the bird is stuffed correctly to ensure no food poisoning but ummmm no. This brings us to today's recipe and that my dear, dear friends on the internet is cornbread dressing. BUT I CHEAT, yuup, I admit it. I don't make it from scratch made corn bread, I use Pepperidge Farms Cornbread Stuffing Mix. It is how I was raised as my momma doesn't like to cook but this is so dang good and easy that you can make it for your family and it will be yummy!
I typically make this dish during the holidays, it always goes well with turkey.
